Dipsy's Cable-Lace-Scarf
This scarf was a pretty quick knit, especially with the yarn that I was using - a Merino-mix that warmed my hands while knitting and will see me through any drop in temperatures ;)

Finishing:
For the fringe, cut as many strands of yarn as you wish in your desired length.
To get them into the scarf a bit easier, add a crochted row on both short sides of the scarf, where you intend to place the fringe: One single crochet, 3 chains, one single crochet into the third stitch after the one you placed the last single crochet into - go on like this till the end.
This will create a little eyelet along the hem in which you can easily attach the strands - use as many as you want, just not too many perhaps. I used 5 strands in every eyelet.
Then block as usual - and enjoy!
